Elflore
Elflore is a Medieval Fantasy Folk-Rock band born from the shared passion of Heather and Frank. Inspired by the sounds of Blackmore’s Night and other modern medieval music, they began writing original songs that blend the rhythms, melodies, and storytelling of the medieval era with contemporary folk-rock energy. Soon, they were joined by a group of talented musicians, each bringing their own unique style and musical flair to create a rich, immersive sound that captures the magic of medieval fantasy music.
Born from a dream
Heather and Frank first connected over their love of Medieval and Renaissance music. Heather was already a well-known Celtic music artist in Austin, Texas, while Frank brought his experience playing rock and country music in bars and festivals in Quebec, Canada. Together, they discovered a shared passion for blending the sounds of the past with modern energy. This collaboration gave birth to Elflore’s Medieval Folk-Rock, a unique mix of Medieval, Renaissance, and contemporary folk-rock that takes listeners on a magical journey through time — music that’s guaranteed to make you smile, clap your hands, and feel the spirit of fantasy and medieval storytelling.
Looking to the Future
Elflore is currently recording their debut album, Gypsy Moon, a journey into the heart of Medieval Folk-Rock. Following the release, the band will embark on an extended U.S. tour, bringing their blend of original songs, traditional music from around the world, and popular rock favorites to audiences everywhere — in a style reminiscent of Blackmore’s Night.
